Over time, our bodies adapt to stresses, accidents and trauma, and we gradually lose our natural uprightness, ease of movement and freedom of expression. The goal of Rolfing is to release these patterns in your body and allow you to return to a more efficient, easier sense of balance and health. Profile and Credentials I completed my Rolfing training in 1989, and my Advanced Rolfing training in 1999. My advanced training involved studying Peter Levine’s work on the effects of trauma and approach to resolve our response to trauma, whether it be physical or emotional in origin. Philosophy and Comments I love Rolfing because it is so inclusive - it is an approach that allows me to work with a client at whatever level is needed. For some clients, our work is with physical issues, and for others it can involve an exploration of all aspects of their life - from physical, emotional, intellectual to spiritual patterns that have affected their health.
